Getting parts to increase the lasers strength increases the odds but there's another element at play here too. First things first the rng is rolled at the previous stages results screen so it will not change if you reload a save.

The reason why you're not just getting 4 parts and reloading that save over and over is that the chances reroll only after you go through the results screen and getting all the parts forces you to shoot the enigma after loading, making it impossible to reroll your chances. Continue this loop until you run out of hours. Chances of a successful shot will always be low even if you get all the parts, so the best thing you can do is get 3 parts and save.įrom this point forward you should shoot the enigma and if it fails reload the save, waste an "hour" going to a stage you already completed and going back to HQ (And save again while you're at it) and shoot the enigma again.
